Ahem...yes. I really liked how my lineart piece "Fury" turned out, so I decided to do another picture similar to it. Granted, I only spent about half the time on this one that I spent on "Fury", so the lines are wretchedly sloppy and the character's proportions are slightly out of whack. But I don't care--I was beginning to get tired of working on this so I decided to upload it regardless of the huge grocery list of mistakes. ^_^
The one thing I do really like about this picture is the movement that the lines seem to create. Hence the name " Fluidity", obviously.
Inked with a dying Pilot G2 gel ink pen on 9x12" bristol board. I will probably go back and seriously refine the lines later, neaten them up as best as I can, when I have the time and patience to do so.
Gah, your line art amazes me. All of your pieces done in this fashion have amazingly fluid lineart. I hope you finish this one, because it's freakin' awesome :3
Yeah, I agree with Stevie. Your lineart is pretty damn amazing. *_* I love how your lines are bold, and how you add so much movement and detail, giving a " simple" picture a whole new dimension of complexity. *Wonders if that's a word* Anyhoo... really pretty. I love the hands.
The proportions seem ok to me There's such a lot of movement in this piece, I like the style a lot Do you ever plan on colouring this? I'm sure it would look just as awsome!
Beautiful, beautiful. The movement is wonderful (the title says it all ^_^), very fluid. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I really like how you draw hands and paws.
