Artist's Comments

My part of an art trade with Chinmoku. This character kicks ass--I love everything about her, her colours, her markings, everything. It was fun drawing her. ^_^ It took me forever to think of an interesting but fitting way to draw her; I saw in the description on her reference sheet that she likes reptiles, hence the wittle green lizard on her hand. ^_^

Sketched and inked on bristol board--gads, the linework alone took twice as long as the colouring, hehe. Coloured in Photoshop using my Wacom tablet; total time from start to finish was probably about 30 hours or so.

I really hope the Kristen likes it! ^_^

wow that is pretty.. the line art and the coloring is so smooth and nice like :) I wish I had a wacom tablet... i have some tablet called jam or something...

Misao's hair was fairly easy--I just coloured in the basic colour [lime green], then tore it up real good with a fine burn tool, and then used the blur tool to smooth it out.

Great pastel looking colouring. :D Love that lizard/gekko-fellah! I specially like that clear and smooth linework. :)
